David O'Neil for District 6 Williamson County Commission

A LIFETIME OF SERVICE, A VISION FOR RESPONSIBLE LEADERSHIP

MEET DAVID

I'm David O'Neil, the Captain of the Criminal Investigation Division for the Brentwood Police Department, and I'm running for the Williamson County Board of Commissioners District 6 seat. With over three decades in public service, my campaign is about continuing my commitment to community engagement. As both a police officer and attorney, I approach decision-making with a meticulous focus on gathering information before forming conclusions. Instead of strict policy platforms, I aim to understand and address key issues. My unwavering commitment is to ensure responsible spending of county funds as I transition from a long career in law enforcement to public office.

MY COMMITMENT

My approach involves a thorough study, a quest to understand all sides of a situation, and arriving at conclusions based on facts.

"As a county commissioner, my vision centers on upholding fiscal responsibility to ensure efficient resource allocation, prioritizing public safety, maintaining our excellent schools, and preserving the quality of life our citizens expect and deserve.”

One principle I am unwavering about is the responsible allocation of county funds. I am committed to ensuring that the county's financial resources are used judiciously. As I embark on this journey, my focus is on listening, learning, and then acting in the best interest of the community I have served for so long.

Richard Hickey, Brentwood Police Chief

“He challenges me and makes me see things that I don’t see myself,” said Hickey. “I think he’ll be great on the county commission – he may bring a different perspective, but he’s also a guy that knows how to get along.”

Help David O’Neil spread his message.
